Teeth out

Nothing like kicking off a Monday with having teeth pulled! Max was understandably nervous about having two teeth pulled today yet agrees it went way more quickly and easily than he expected. Dr. Kanellis worked his magic in 9 minutes and 11 seconds.

The little one on the lower right side - the half tooth left when the other half fell out over a year ago - was sticking out in front of the completely in permanent tooth. A little topical and Dr. K pulled it. Lots of blood and more pain than Max would have liked.

The second tooth on the lower left side took one pull after the Novocain injection.

Dr. K beat his own prediction by 49 seconds. And to his credit, likely by more as I started the timer he requested as he was putting on the topical. He had said 10 minutes for the pulling.

Max is now soundly sleeping and has been for 45 minutes. I thought he might milk the appointment and try for some screen time and just hanging out. Maybe he really does need a little sleep and healing - I'm good with providing that kid of love and care today.

Now on to braces this summer...

9 min and 11 seconds later..
