Heart melted

A typical bedtime routine with Max includes rubbing his back, a couple of minutes of talking and me giving him a big hug, kiss on the cheek or forehead and telling him "I love you." Sometimes I get a hug or kiss in return. Sometimes an "I love you." Sometimes all three. It's what happens as I walk out of the room and down the hallway that always. ALWAYS. Makes me pause.

He says, sometimes more than once, "I love you mom. Good night." It melts my heart. Every. Time.
