Working on the perfect smile

Today, Max embarked on the next and biggest step of a straighter smile - BRACES! Dr. Tom Welk (yes, he's the great nephew of Lawrence Welk - although Max had no idea who he is) says he'll have them on about two years. Tonight, Max is sore and only semi-excited about this adventure. Not any different than other kids! Here's to two years, $5,000, no caramels, some IBU and lots of trips to the College of Dentistry!
