Good night

Lying between Graham and Pierce in bed tonight and as I'm saying how thankful I am that God gave me my boys, Graham says "I'm thankful God gave me such a great mom." And then snuggled up close to me. Yep, I may have had a tear in my eye. He followed it with an "I love you very much." 

Sigh. 

Ahh that took my heart

Pierce can be so incredibly loveable.  This is what I got when I helped Pierce after his shower tonight.

"I love you, mom. Love you. Love you. Love you."

"I love you, Pierce." Followed by a big hug between us.

"I will always love you," Pierce looking right at me.

Then we gave each other eight little kisses as we often do. His smile and love were palpable.

"Will you give me nine when you turn nine?"

"Of course. I love you."

One more big hug and I almost lost it.
