Max and I had about 15 minutes of uninterrupted time in the kitchen before he headed to school this morning. Priceless. No one else. No phone. No rush. Talkative. Where will we go on vacation this summer? International Costa Rica, Spain, Caribbean. Stateside - Malibu, Myrtle Beach, Montana. His bucket list now includes Daytona 500 and Indy. Wants to see Niagara Falls. Weather in areas of Florida. Talk about prom - only Liberty kids which is hard for him. Pet the dogs together. A hug, kiss on the check and "I love yous" as he heads to school. These are the moments that grab my heart. And make my heart hurt knowing he will put his wings to use in a year and a half. In the meantime, more of these please.
