Golf outing with friends. Year eleven.
Evening with friends.
My parents visit.
Pierce tells me he wants to wear underwear.
Dad and Mitch begin scrubbing and cleaning the deck.
Birthday party for Max to attend.
Errands for Graham, Pierce, my mom and me including a Starbucks stop.
Birthday party for Graham to attend.
Baseball practice for Max.
Deck cleaning continues.
One accident by Pierce. No diaper even at nap time.
Dinner at Red's to celebrate Mom's birthday and Max's birthday. Great time. Lots of trips to the bathroom.
Play outside.
Boys to bed with Gamma and Gump.
Mitch and I out downtown with Jan, Mike, Kristen and Ron. Zombie RV equipped with sound system and bar as part of the Iowa City Landlocked Film Festival. Fabulous wine, desserts and drinks plus the creation (at least in conversation with the manager, Brian and the chef) about creating a salted nut roll dessert at Chef's Table. Imagine butterscotch, marshmallow and almonds. Dancing the night away.
Airplanes, helicopters, games and pancake breakfast for all the boys.
Still no diapers (except overnight).
Finish the decorating of the boys' new rooms - space for Graham and Pierce; skateboards and lots of older boy colors and such for Max. Graham's favorite - the rocket ship clock. Pierce - the pillows. Max - the bedspread. I heard "cool" and "awesome" more than once. I did well.
More outside play.
Finish the deck cleaning.
Pierce asks four times to go to the bathroom. Only one accident.
Baseball for Max.
Gamma and Gump leave. Such a great weekend with them.
Van door busted and won't shut.
Dinner outside.
Showers and bed time routine for all. Max thrilled with his newly decorated room. Graham exhausted and can't find pajamas. Pierce "I no wear diapers anymore."
Three boys sound asleep by 7:30.
